Notes and Announcements from the Director -
I hope everyone enjoyed the 100 day tee shirts and the 100 day activities, the day was a huge success at Locust
The children have a very busy spring ahead of them we have Dino Dig visiting the school on Feb 25th, trips to the Queens Zoo, Vanderbilt Museum, and the first graders will be going on the PTA sponsored trip to the Tilles ctr to see a performance of Harold and the Purple Crayon.
The discovery garden committee has done another wonderful job decorating the garden for valentines day and the 100 day of school thank you so much!!!
The plant sale, yearbook, and pta dinner committees are underway for all of our spring happenings.
The PTA dinner is fast approaching. March 18th at the New Hyde Park Inn please get you tables together, it is always a fun night out for all.
Please be aware that budget time is NOW so keep informed, attend the board meetings and make your voice heard!!!!!
